This is an abstract bidding game where players are bidding on locations on the game board to occupy. Bids are placed by using a finite number of numbered building pieces. Bids continue until all players pass, then the last building placed wins and remains on the board, thus reducing their ability to bid that same number in the future. When bidding you must bid on an empty lot adjacent to the one just bid on, thereby creating a path of proposals. Each player has a secret objective which awards them points in the end.
The players must decide how much they are willing to spend on which lots, knowing who can still outbid them. As the board fills up dead ends are created, which can offer for really cheap buildings. The game can play fast and furious, or you can puzzle over the strategies and guess what path your opponents will take.
